Public "Reserved" Parking Lot

Want hassle free parking?  Reserve your spot in the 800-plus space paved Soccer Lot located on University Boulevard (across from Arby's) which has convenient service via the Crimson Ride Transit System to and from the Quad.  The price for a reserved season pass this year is $163.  To register for uagameday.com e-mail updates click here.  If you are interested in purchasing a parking space, call Southtix at 1-800-240-2300 or go on-line to www.southtix.com to reserve your space.

There will also be other areas for public parking on the east portion of the UA campus. The following lots will be $20 per vehicle on Gameday and sold on a first come first served basis. We encourage fans that plan on parking in these lots to enter campus via Campus Drive and then to turn left onto 5th Avenue East. This will help ensure a quick travel time from McFarland Boulevard.

  • Grass lot located at the corner of University Boulevard and 5th Avenue East
  • Grass areas surrounding the new Soccer lot
  • Grass area near Capstone Village on 5th Avenue East

Free Public Parking Downtown

With the stadium expansion and the increased number of fans this year, we have a new area of public parking for gameday and it is FREE OF CHARGE.  This new area is located downtown in and around the Downtown Intermodal Facility parking deck; it is a shorter distance to the stadium than the Soccer Lot on campus.  This parking deck has over 400 spaces and is located on 23rd Avenue between 6th and 7th St., just behind City Hall, between University Blvd and Bryant Dr.  There are many restaurant and shopping options in the areas surrounding the parking deck.  Tuscaloosa Transit will be running 14 buses from this location, starting 3 hours prior to game time.  The cost to ride the bus (per trip):

  • Adults:  $1
  • Children 3 and under:  Free
  • Age 60 or over and people with disabilities: 50 cents

Or take the STADIUM STROLL (less than a 1 mile walk from the parking facility to Bryant Denny Stadium).  Marked pedestrian paths will lead you from the parking facility to the stadium.

In addition, there are many other parking lots and side-street parking spaces that are free of charge near the Intermodal Facility.  You may park there and walk to the bus pick-up or take the Stadium Stroll to Bryant Denny Stadium.

Parking for People with Physical Disabilities

The University of Alabama provides a limited number of parking spaces for people with disabilities. For people who use a wheelchair, accessible parking is located at the lot on Wallace Wade Ave. (#1 on the www.uagameday.com pregame parking map), the Communications Card Lot (#2 on the www.uagameday.com pregame parking map) and the new wheelchair accessible parking lot located on the Southside of the Stadium at Calvary Baptist Church (#3 on the www.uagameday.com pregame parking map).. All other parking for people with disabilities is located at the Campus Drive Deck (Campus Drive at Hackberry Lane).  We are pleased that we will be able to offer more services at this location and more parking space is available to accommodate the fans.  This deck serves at the hub for the Crimson Ride transit system.  Restroom facilities are conveniently located in the Campus Drive Deck. Crimson Ride buses will transport fans from this location to the Quad for the festivities there. Transportation to the stadium will begin 3 hours prior to kickoff.  Parking is $20 per vehicle and will be collected at the lot.  For post-game shuttle, all buses leaving the stadium for the Campus Drive Deck will board on the west side of the stadium on Wallace Wade Drive.  Buses will be a combination of small school buses and Crimson Ride buses. Post game, fans who want to go to the Campus Drive Deck via a bus should go to the west side of the stadium, across Wallace Wade, and board the buses in that location only. These buses will begin running at the end of the third quarter and will continue torun one hour post game.  For more information about services for people with disabilities click here or for a map and explanation of the disability buses click here.
