PARKING
FREE PUBLIC PARKING DOWNTOWN
Back by popular demand, downtown parking will remain FREE OF CHARGE. These areas are located downtown in and around the Downtown Intermodal Facility parking deck; it is a shorter distance to the stadium than the Soccer Lot on campus. This parking deck has over 400 spaces and is located on 23rd Avenue between 6th and 7th St., just behind City Hall, between University Blvd and Bryant Dr. There are many restaurant and shopping options in the areas surrounding the parking deck. Tuscaloosa Transit will be running 16 buses from this location, starting 3 hours prior to game time. The cost to ride the bus (per trip):
- Adults: $1
- Children 3 and under: Free
- Age 60 or over and people with disabilities: 50 cents
Or take the STADIUM STROLL (marked in green on the map below). It is less than a one mile walk from the downtown parking areas to the stadium.

PUBLIC PARKING ON GAMEDAY
Due to the increased staff needed to accommodate the growing number of fans on campus and the increasing fuel costs for buses, some on-campus parking will increase to $25-$30 per game. PUBLIC “RESERVED” PARKING LOT
Want hassle free parking? Reserve your spot in the 800-plus space paved Soccer Lot located on University Boulevard (across from Arby’s) which has convenient service via the Crimson Ride Transit System to and from the Quad. The price for a reserved season pass this year is $175. If you are interested in purchasing a parking space, go on-line to www.uagameday.com to reserve your space.
PARKING FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES
The Wallace Wade lot will be used entirely for parking for people with disabilities during the 2011 season. The lot will again be first come / first served until filled.

TRAFFIC
NEW GOLF CART POLICY PROMOTES GAMEDAY SAFETY
To ensure the safety of fans and their enjoyable gameday experience, a new University of Alabama policy on the private use of golf carts during athletic events on campus is now in effect.
- Anyone operating a privately owned golf cart must operate in the same manner as an automobile or other street legal motorized vehicle.
- All golf carts must meet the Alabama DOT Standard 500 / NEV criteria (Alabama Code of 1975, Title 32) for being operated on public roads with a posted speed limit of 35 MPH. For the purposes of this policy, these will be termed Street Legal Vehicles.
- Street Legal Vehicles will only be allowed on open streets for public traffic.
- Street Legal Vehicles will be allowed onto other closed roads when accompanied by a Tide Pride parking pass or government issued credentials for people with disabilities
- Street Legal Vehicles will not be allowed access to roads closed around the Quad, such as 6th Ave, Margaret Dr., 9th Ave., Capstone Dr. and McCorvey Dr.
- Operators of a Street Legal Vehicles must have a valid driver license and proper insurance.
- Unlicensed golf carts will not be allowed onto open streets, closed streets, sidewalks, grass or other areas. They will be limited to parking lots and parking lots designated for RV Parking.
- Violation of any of the rules could result in the issuance of traffic citations and other penalties, as outlined by state laws and/or university policies.
- All ATVs (i.e. Gator, Mule, Rhino, Grizzly, Big Red, Four Trax, King Quad, Razor, Ranger, Sportsman, etc.) lawn tractors, farm/agricultural vehicles, non-licensed motorized scooters and other non-licensed vehicles may not be used on University property, roads under control of the University or public roads.
POST GAME TRAFFIC TIPIf you take I-20/59 north to get home after the game, try taking University Blvd east through Alberta City & Cottondale. When you get to the intersection of University Blvd & Hwy. 216, take a left onto Hwy. 216 and follow it to the interstate. Law enforcement will be working this intersection to keep traffic flowing as smoothly as possible to the interstate.

THE QUAD
RESERVE TAILGATE SPACES ON THE QUAD
Because of the demand for more reserved tents, we have added several more spaces for the 2011 season. Click Here to see a map of the Quad showing the locations of the new reserved spaces on the Quad. By reserving a space, you will have the same reserved space for all seven home games, one vehicle parking pass for a nearby parking lot, electricity for your space and one 10x10 tent. Most spaces have enough room for at least three 10x10 tents. The price for reserving all of these amenities on Gameday is $850 for the entire season. Check back in 2012 as these have SOLD OUT for this season.
QUAD SET UP
The Quad will open for tailgate drop-off on Fridays in 2011. Quad drop-off will open on Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday at the following times: Morning kick-offs 6:00 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.Afternoon kick-offs 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.Evening kick-offs 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

TAILGATING
RESERVE TAILGATE SPACES AT PRESIDENTIAL PARK
Presidential Park is a new, reserved tailgating area on the campus of the University of Alabama. This new location is only 400 yards from Bryant-Denny Stadium and a great place to enjoy your Gameday tailgate off of the Quad. RV PARKING
2011 On-Campus RV Spots are SOLD OUT!
Northington Lot
The University has given the old Northington Campus a facelift for both RV staging and a FREE RV lot to park in all weekend. The new gravel drive lanes will help distinguish RV parking spots and ease entering and exiting the lot. Click Here to see the new layout. Please note the new entrance. Also, this configuration will leave drive lanes for emergency vehicles and pedestrian flow in the case of an emergency.
